Job Description

The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Houston seeks candidates with exceptional skills for inspiring teaching and cutting-edge interdisciplinary research for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position. Candidates must hold a PhD and/or M.D. degree in the area appropriate to the applicant's specialized field, a strong record/potential for independent extramural funding, and a solid publication record in high-quality peer-reviewed journals. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.   As part of the strategic plan for expanding biomedical research in emerging fields, the department invites applications for the following:
 
Tenured or tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the area of Neural Rehabilitation Engineering.
