We are seeking a Class A or B Driver to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste in conjunction with all DOT rules and regulations. This position is hourly paid; requires some overtime.
Individual will label and load drums; complete hazardous and non-hazardous paperwork; perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; and operate various types of equipment. This position will require some overnight travel, requires some overtime work, and involves a work schedule that will vary.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Class B CDL driving license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement; and a clean driving record are required. The selected candidate must successfully pass a DOT physical. Individual must be detail oriented; customer focused; must have the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; and must have the ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOP’s, and training modules.
The ability to exert physical effort daily; to wear a full-face respirator; and to wear Level C & D protective clothing when necessary, are required. The ability to work occasional overtime; and to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check, are required.
