Job Description

Lock Desk Analyst
The Lock Desk Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily aspects of the Lock Desk.
  • Oversee the Lock Desk queue and staff and ensure that excellent customer service is provided.
  • Act as an escalation point for any Lock Desk issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the current process and help develop a plan to implement change.
  • Identify training needs and take steps to implement training.
  • Coordinate staff schedules to ensure coverage at all times.
  • Interact well with the Lock Desk Team – lead by example.
  • Understand product and policy changes which will impact the Lock Desk and effectively communicate those changes to the team.
  • Maintain the Lock Desk Policy and Procedures.
  • Keep management informed of all Lock Desk projects and issues.          
  • High school diploma.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry
  • Experience leading a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong initiative.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with branch, regional and corporate personnel.
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability.
