Job Description
 
I. OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the PMO Manager, the Senior Business Consultant leads technology
enabled transformation projects from start to finish in order to achieve the organization’s needs.
 
II. EXPECTATIONS:
  • Serves as the liaison between the internal customer and Project/Product Technical
  • Delivery. Ensures the end user gets the most out of our products by translating needs into
  • requirements. Acts as the primary contact for internal customers and their advocate.
  • Fosters a consultative, proactive and diplomatic approach to maximize the value and
  • success of each Supreme project from ideation through acceptance.
  • Collaborates with the project team working on any transformation projects. Demonstrated
  • financial industry (mortgage) and IT knowledge will help analyze Supreme Lending’s
  • organizational structures and business processes; investigates architectural needs and
  • explores new or existing legacy solutions.
  • Responsible for defining and managing requirements as well as designing business
  • processes that formalize existing, informal processes, and integrate existing systems.
  • Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure expectations are achieved.
  • Responsible for facilitating UAT within the project. Serves as the point person when it
  • comes to delivering both the scope defined and the quality expected.
  • Created and promoted ideas that will help our customers to achieve higher efficiency,
  • better control processes and simplification.
  • Stays abreast of the latest practices on consulting and continues to develop our material to
  • drive customers to achieve success.
  • Works with an onshore and offshore team(s) to drive project delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
III. JOB REQUIEMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in successfully Consulting or IT Project Delivery in the financial
  • services industry (preferably mortgage origination).
  • Must be passionate about financial services and technology, eager to learn more and have
  • the problem-solver DNA, which helps understand a problem quickly and thinking of
  • innovative and creative solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills and proven ability to successfully interface with and influence at
  • all levels.
  • Must take pride in the quality of your work and ensure that each solution meets functional
  • and technical needs (not asks).
  • Ability to manage multiple deliveries on-time as well as prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Broad understanding of the business requirements of the financial services industry and
  • willing to roll up your sleeves to translate them into user stories or artifacts as needed .
  • Demonstrated team player and problem-solver.
  • Must have a demonstrated passion for helping internal customers in order to achieve the
  • full potential for the organization.
  • Must be proactive about sharing knowledge and communicating feedback for improving
  • our products to our development teams.
  • Must be comfortable expressing opinions, but also open to receiving constructive
  • feedback.
