Westpark Springs is a 72-bed behavioral hospital located near Houston in Richmond, TX. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction treatment to adults, adolescents and their families. As a member of the Business Development team, you will play an important role in helping fulfill our mission of “Changing People’s Lives®”.  Business Development Representatives serve as a liaison between our hospital and referral sources from the local community.   Our team is also responsible for increasing community awareness of the services of our hospital.  We maintain a high level of customer service, by ensuring all admissions are well coordinated with the hospital intake and referral office.

Position Details:
Responsible for overall financial administration of the hospital, including revenue cycle, general accounting, information systems and financial reporting in accordance with all hospital and corporate policies and procedures.  Ensures that internal controls are adequate to safeguard facility assets and that accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reports.  Also responsible for preparation of the annual hospital budget along with ongoing analytics monitoring any variances and reporting to CEO and corporate office.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field required.  CPA preferred.
Experience:  Previous experience in healthcare overall financial operations/controls required. Experience in payroll also required.  Knowledge of in-patient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital finance preferred. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and has used computer workstation in previous roles in hospital.
License: Valid driver’s license preferred.
Additional Requirements:  May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
