    Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian/Patient Services Manager 2 to support patient service operation for a high profile and large volume operation within Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. This level 1 trauma center with 938 licensed beds and an average daily census of 785. This position will have a significant impact on patient satisfaction by managing Sodexo’s patient dining platform.

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Must be a Registered Dietitian
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
    • Previous experience working in a high volume facility
    • Experience with regulatory and compliance within food services
    • Strong management skills, preferably in health care
    • The ability to effectively communicate with a diverse staff both verbally and in writing
    • The ability to identify, on-board, train and develop staff members
    • An understanding of what it takes to motivate people to go above the normal call of duty
    • Stress tolerance
    • Self-directed

    Position Summary

    Provides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
    Key Duties
    - Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.

    - Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.

    - Performs audits and prepares reports.


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
