    Southeast Hospital is a member of the nationally recognized, Houston based, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.

    The position requires a energetic health care food service expert that can lead a highly successful team. The SE team currently averages patient satisfaction scores at the 88th percentile using Sodexo's EFY (Expressly For You) Hostess program. This GM will lead a team of dedicated front line staff and 3 managers who have established a consistent history of patient satisfaction excellence and outstanding financial performance. The qualified candidate will have the professional communication skils, business acumen, and energy level to continue the history of operational excellence and excellent client relations. The position has oversight of Expressly For You patient services, full service cafe, coffee shop, physicians lounge, and C-store. The GM will also be required to have a working knowledge of regulatory agency compliance, food safety, and environmental safety.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

    Basic Management Experience - 5 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
