As an Intern for Process Automation Americas Project Controls group, you can work with the project controllers and management team for work on special projects related to finance issues with the delivery organization and project controls team for exposure to financial reporting in relation to projects (revenue and margin) and what a project controller does.  This position will report to the Director of Americas Project Controls, but interact daily with the FP&A for Americas Project Controls.


What do you get to do in this position?

-        Project evaluation, project release and project close-out.

-        Project monitoring and data collection to determine if a project is progressing according to budget.

-        Reviews project activities for compliance with procedural guidelines and standards.

-        Ensures compliance with the Company's financial policies and procedures to include revenue recognition policies and project set up rules.

-        Serves as a liaison between the business office and operations.

-        Communicates project forecast variances and/or project anomalies in a timely manner.

-        Prepares the forecast and tracks the budget periodically.

-        Monitors the project cash flow.

-        Coordinates with the Service Administrators to ensure project invoices are accurately prepared and submitted timely.

-        Ad Hoc financial reports and closing as required.


This job might be for you if:

-        Current student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or Economics as a junior or senior

-        Ability to start in Fall 2019 (with potential to continue to Spring 2020)

-        Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred
