Responsibilities:


The EPC Account Manager isresponsible for delivering on the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) established forthis position through the establishment and maintenance of the salesrelationship with each EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)client/prospect in their portfolio at every level from the executive suite todepartmental line managers to engineers to procurement.


The EPC Account Manager drivesnew business through the identification, development, negotiation, and closureof new and existing client projects. They target potential leads, qualify them,and work with our consulting and proposal teams to ensure Schneider Electricdelivers a solution that exactly meets the client's needs. To this end, theyleverage their industry and financial business knowledge to create demand andpersuade through the development and presentation of compelling purchasingrationales.


The EPC Account Manager is ableto leverage their knowledge of the EPC work process and utilize their clientcontacts to reduce the sales cycle.

Product, Services and Solutionagreements will encompass all Schneider Electric offerings and range in scalefrom short-term consulting engagements to complex, multi-service, multi-yearand global partnerships. Specific new sales/revenue and profit margin targetsare established annually by management for each EPC Account Manager.


Additional  responsibilities include the smooth transitionof new business from sales to delivery, coaching and mentoring account deliveryleaders on client relationship management issues, providing feedback oncustomer wants and needs to the Schneider Electric strategic portfolio function,ensuring compliance with sales processes and new business approvalrequirements, coordinating the relationship between key client personnel andSchneider Electric senior executives, and leading or coordinating globalrelationship management initiatives with other geographic units of SchneiderElectric focused on the same EPC client or end user.


The EPC Account Manager alsoshares industry, deal, and sales best-practice knowledge with the SchneiderElectric sales community and may mentor and coach other Client SalesExecutives.


Other job essential functionsinclude, but are not limited to, the following:

·       Create and maintain client sales plans

·        Create entry strategies for new clients andprojects

·       Utilize business and financial knowledge tocreate value propositions

·       Execute competitive sales tactics to winbusiness

·       Develop key client relationships including theexecutive level

·       Secure Schneider Electric on the approved andpreferred bidder's list

·       Utilize business and financial knowledge tocreate value propositions

·       Lead in client contract negotiations

·       Drive Global Team Work and Coordination onGlobal Projects

Qualifications


Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Engineering,Computer Science, or Economics. An MBA, graduate degree in Business,Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Engineering or professionalqualifications in Law or Finance are considered a major plus.

 

Experience:

10 years of complex, solution selling sales experience to the refining, oil andgas industry.

Recentexperience with EPCs in the Houston market.

Strongtechnical knowledge: DCS, Safety Systems, Advanced Applications, PLC, CONTROLS,M&I;, MES (Mandatory). UPS, CCTV, Switchgear, EHouse (Beneficial)

Industrialclient base: Oil & Gas, Chemical, Refinery at EPCs

Pastexperience in closing MAC and Mega size deals of $10 Million in contractvalue* Knowledgeable of Business Solutions and Manufacturing Applications

Abilityto establish C level relationships

Trackrecord of meeting/exceeding yearly quota

Experiencein business transformation solutions

Capabilityto understand Schneider Electric offerings and articulate those offerings tothe industry and prospects.
