For all three main workstations, the basic tasks are:
Read, understand and follow through with each work order.
Pull the appropriate material for a work order and ensure that there is stock available. Pre-set the product to prepare for production.
Start up the machine to initiate production.
Monitor the production continuously until output and ensure that quality standards are met.
Inform the Operator Leader or Production Supervisor if there are any discrepancies in the work order specs.
Input the relevant and precise information about the progress of each work order in the system. Label, package and stock the completed products carefully.
Work collaboratively with the other operators of the shift to complete work orders on-time and within the quality specifications.
We are not focused on the experience as much as specific professional qualities of the person who will work on this post. Our goal is to have reliable, motivated and dependable workers. Further, to enhance the cross-training our staff in order to have versatile operators.
As our products are used mainly in the aeronautic industry, we need to comply to very high quality standards and each of our employees has to be able to keep up with these standards, so strictness will always be more important than productivity (but having both will be best!).
