SENIOR CLIENT SALES MANAGER

What You Do:

As a SR. SALES MANAGER, you will actively acquire and generate leads to grow PinnacleART’s client base.

Reports to: Director, Client Solutions

Location: Pasadena, TX

Accountable for:

  • Support Inside Sales: Follow up with leads generated from various marketing activities, prepare proposals for opportunities, and meeting turnaround times for internal processes and client expectations.  
  • Support Lead Generation: Support sales and marketing planes and strategies to obtain business contracts, actively creates and edits new marketing content for marketing activities such as case studies, white papers, lunch and learns, etc. Participates in various marketing and networking activities, including tradeshows, conferences, and local chapter meetings.  
  • Support Key Department Initiatives: Supports Solution team in tacking key initiatives, including proposal template updates, SOP’s KPI management, presentation updates, price estimation practices, account planning tools, etc. Stewards client surveys across all current and past cities

Job Responsibilities:

New Account Sales

  • Qualify leads from inside sales and take through problem and solution definition with the client, including:
    • Phone calls
    • On-site engagements
    • Site assessments
  • Effectively drive proposal, estimate, and project plan development along with obtaining proper proposal approvals for send out
  • Steward contract development and commercial negotiation with the client
  • Effectively transition projects to Services teams
  • Expand relationships and bring in new clients

Existing Account Sales

  • Work with existing PinnacleART Services (e.g. Operations Team) leadership to build, update, and upgrade existing account strategies, including how to improve current offerings, solve client problems, break into new sites, and increase account impact year over year
  • Work with existing Services leadership to deploy account strategies
  • Build executive level relationships for each account
  • Serve as key relationship owner on the account, resolving major client issues and concerns
  • Steward contract development and commercial negotiation with the client
  • Motivate, empower, mentor, and influence internal PinnacleART stakeholders to accomplish shared goals
  • Create and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training

Marketing Support

  • Support sales and marketing plans and strategies to obtain business contacts per designated market
  • Actively create and edit new marketing content for marketing activities such as case studies, white papers, lunch and learns, webinars, etc.
  • Participate in various marketing and networking activities, including tradeshows, conferences, and local chapter meetings
  • Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management

Other Department Duties

  • Support Solutions team in tackling key initiatives, including proposal template updates, SOP’s, KPI management, presentation updates, price estimation practices, account planning tools, and others
  • Serve as continuous voice of the customer back to sales, marketing, and product development for the served market(s)
  • Keep CRM system up to date per owned accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience at an owner/operator in the integrity, reliability or maintenance department, or equivalent experience in a similar area(s) with a comparable services company
  • A 5+ year proven record of previous salesmanship or account management, including a demonstration of exceeding sales quotas and growing accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, a facilitator, and a people-person
  • A strong analytical mind capable of organizing abstract problems and translating into tangible, value-add solutions
  • Strong aptitude for learning new processes and techniques
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage more than one client account
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
