What You Do:
As a CAD Technician, you will work as part of our CAD team on site at one of our Houston site locations (Plant/Refinery).
Reports to: Site Lead and Asset Integrity Manager
Location: Texas City, TX
To include performing or coordinating the following:
Basic AutoCAD principles
Ability to draft in isometric planes while visualizing mechanical piping
Ability to use LISP routines, template files and block attributes
Data extraction to and from a database using AutoCAD
Ability to interpret piping drawings and diagrams
Ability to make corrections to redlines using AutoCAD
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
Associate’s degrees required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; all majors accepted
Must be willing to participate in temporary relocation up to 3 months
Strong desire for learning new software and skills
Must be able to work 40 hours a week within the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday
Use of Microsoft Office 2007 tools including Excel and Access
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter and highly motivated team player
