Business Development Specialist

The Business Development representative team member will promote and sell the benefits of PCCA to prospective pharmacists and will either set up an account or contribute to prospecting pipeline.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Presents at and/or attend engagements, as needed
Uses PCCA tools and software to analyze and discuss sales along with the progress of accounts with senior sales management and Sr. Business Development Specialist.
Promotes PCCA Membership, active ingredients and key products to prospects/
Minimum of 200 outbound calls per week or three to four hours per day on the phone
Contacts prospective pharmacists while identifying/qualifying leads for the pipeline.
Triages incoming calls from prospects
Fills the pipeline for outside recruiters (Connect with Suspects, A1 and A2 prospects)
Discuss equipment options for new pharmacies and buildouts.
Continuously learn and be familiar with USP/State board regulatory requirements.
Works with outside sales representatives and recruiters to ensure accounts are active and current
Enters and update customer data in contact management software
Develops and maintains relationships with prospective members and their teams, i.e. technicians, pharmacists, managers, owners, buyers
Communicates the benefits of the PCCA Membership
Supports customer service and troubleshoot, as needed
WHO YOU ARE
- Prior experience in cold calling, a plus
- Dale Carnegie, Sandler or related sales trainings
