Location is Pasadena, TX. 

Purpose: To receive, unpack, check, store, track supplies or materials and fill tool room orders

Work Schedule: Varies by location. Must have open availability any time any day of the week. Length of employment is limited to job assignment and/or project duration.

Essential Skills (may include but are not limited to the ability to)
• Keep records of items entering or leaving the tool room
• Perform routine preventative maintenance of tools and equipment
• Inspect returned supplies for damage
• Troubleshoot, maintain and make minor repairs to small tools as needed
• Replace or fix worn or broken tool and equipment parts
• Make adjustments to correct malfunctioning equipment and machines
• Sort, organize, and mark items with identifying codes
• Maintain levels of supplies to ensure maximum productivity of construction crews
• Notify appropriate leadership of the need to order new supplies
• Maintain inventories so that it can be located quickly and easily
• Store materials in bins, on floors or on shelves
• Lift objects of various weights and sizes
• Work within company policy as outlined in the Lauren Engineers & Constructors Craft Handbook and in compliment with the LEC Human Resources Policy Manual, LEC Safety Manual and OSHA Safety rules
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed

Essential Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• One (1) year of supply/warehouse experience
• Discretion, good judgment, organizational skills and initiative
• Adaptability and versatility
• Strength, stamina, good eyesight, and an ability to work at repetitive tasks, sometimes under pressure
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)

Physical Requirements
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
• Lift, carry and push materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive bending, stooping and reaching
• See well (naturally or with correction)
• Eye-hand coordination
• Good sense of balance

Environment: Work may be physically demanding including frequent lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling in awkward positions. Some work at great heights, or outdoors in all weather conditions. Exposure to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise, or dangerous machinery may occur. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.
