    JOB SUMMARY

    Provide system support specific to the validation and building of Provider, Vendor, and Place of Service (PVP) tasks within the EPIC Tapestry system. Provide service support to Managed Care Operations and KCA as applicable to testing of Provider contracts and Benefits plans. Complete the missing information in Tapestry from electronic claims loaded by Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files. Resolve MCA Vendor Customer Relationship Management (CRM) that are for provider, vendor and place of service build. Build providers as requested by Network Development for affiliate rosters. Complete all PVP requests received from returned mail, faxes and other sources.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    A.

    Associates degree or comparable years of experience on the Claims team.

    Experience

    A.

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience with healthcare applications, system design, and configuration or support.
    • 3 years of demonstrated experience in claims processing, provider, vendor, and place of service records in Epic.

    B.

    4-6 years’ experience in a Managed Care environment.

    Licenses

    A.

    Valid Texas Driver’s License.

    B.

    Special Skills

    A.

    • Strong ability to translate administrative and operating requirements specific to EPIC Tapestry System into clear, specific actionable system configurations and the ability to implement those configurations.
    • Ability to build Provider, Vendor, and Place of Service configurations to assure functional accuracy.
    • Microsoft office including Excel.

    B.

    Strong analytical and reporting skills.
