THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

The Program Manager will be responsible for the Air Combat Command (ACC) Optimizing Human Weapons System (OHWS) contract including management of KBRwyle and team resources, will serve as the primary customer interface, and be responsible for the management and oversight of contract execution. Incumbent will perform other duties and assignments as required.

Duties may include:

  • Fulfill all contractual responsibilities associated with being the Program Manager/KBRwyle customer representative of the OHWS contract
  • Understand and respond to Air Combat Command strategic and tactical requirements related to OHWS
  • Provide assigned daily management of activities, operations, and processes in accordance with plans, policies and objectives
  • Establish and provide team direction, following up as necessary, to ensure team and individuals are meeting commitments
  • Act as primary Point of Contact (POC) to the Contracting Officer (KO) and/or assigned OHWS contact to ensure communication specific to that service
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend strategic plans to support contract requirements and emerging customer needs
  • Monitor innovations/improvements for success in contract execution
  • Work closely with and provide direction to the Regional Directors/HR Director to make overall operational decisions regarding deployment of resources across all contract locations
  • Provide management/inputs in the selection, training, and performance of assigned and/or matrixed personnel
  • Upon award, oversee resources and project execution; complying with all reporting requirements
  • Interface with customers on a consistent basis to ensure the team is meeting expectations; modify plans and processes in order to successfully meet customer requirements
  • Implement customer satisfaction processes and ensure metrics are captured and reported
  • Lead investigations for corrective actions/nonconformance
  • Prepare and participate in monthly internal program reviews and status reports
  • Assist with defining staffing needs, recruitment, retention, and development of future requirements
  • Attend customer meetings as needed
  • Adjudicate allocation of headcount/work share among teammates
  • Travel to assigned sites in order to meet regularly with customers and employees
  • Oversee compliance with all contract requirements
  • Supports Continuous Improvement and deploy improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

 



Qualifications

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Advanced Degree (Masters/Doctoral) in Biomedical Sciences, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Sociology, Sport Medicine, Health Service Management, Health/Hospital Administration or related field
  • 20 year's military, preferably Air Force, experience
  • Experience supporting Federal contracts and programs
  • Demonstrable success leading a team working in a human factors, biomedical, and/or medical support (clinic, hospital or deployment field hospital setting)
  • Demonstrable success in building and leading multi-institutional teams and diverse teams of personnel
  • Demonstrable experience in both strategic and tactical planning and execution.
  • Strong and effective written communication skills for reports, analysis, and e-mail communication
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Be able to attain a Dept. of Defense Secret security clearance (if required by contract)
  • Familiar with Combat Air Forces (CAF) and Air Forces Command (ACC)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of military medical and human performance/effectiveness programs
