Role:

Assists with the implementation and maintenance of the credit union’s overall marketing plan. A results oriented team player who supervises the outsourced MCIF system, effectively manages the marketing function by concentrating time and resources on activities that attain measurable benefits to the credit union. Manages data extracts by downloading/uploading various reports to key vendors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and data management skills, maintain awareness of applicable laws and regulations of the financial services industry and be capable of meeting precise project deadlines. Serves as print production manager for the credit union ensuring deliverables are timely and accurate. Ensures all billing are maintained and maintains reports that provide the status of expenditures compared to marketing budgets. Assists with social media coordination, creation, and posts. And performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

20% Works closely with VP of Marketing and Creative Director to ensure all billing and budgets are maintained on a regular basis.

20% Works with outsourced MCIF provider and other vendors to help provide effective segmentation,and drafts written plans to implement initiatives for channel, service, sales, and

promotional strategies to improve financial metrics and brand awareness for the credit union.

20% Supports the activities of the Marketing Department ensuring productive and successful marketing initiatives. And assists with social media coordination, creation, and posts.

10% Manages the MCIF vendor relationship, collaborating with the IT Department to ensure timely and accurate data updates. Delivering high quality, decisionable information, developing member

segmentation methodologies using profit and behavior information.

10% Coordinates and manages production with various vendors for marketing tactics, including direct mail, newsletters, banners, brochures, take-ones, posters, advertising specialty items, etc.

5% Supports the credit union’s internal sales program with timely and effective communication of marketing tactics and strategies, producing frequent management and sales tracking reports

utilizing third party MCIF system.

5% Prepares weekly update to VP of Marketing, pertaining to all marketing programs, communications, special projects, budget and results from various marketing efforts.

5% Participates in career enhancing programs and educational activities to facilitate personal and departmental growth over time.

5% Assists the VP of Marketing with other duties as assigned, normally associated with accomplishing the mission of the Marketing & Business Development Departments.

1. Provides marketing deliverables that will have a positive impact on ROA.

2. Supports the strategic planning process in attaining growth in the areas of membership, assets and capital accumulation.

3. Must be a self starter and the ability to work well with limited oversight.

4. Provides timely, accurate and professional support to management.

5. Maintains a professional work environment.

6. Adheres to credit union Privacy Policy.

7. Employee demonstrates an understanding of, and follows the requirements of all regulation compliance, including but not limited to those of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions. Employee shall be trained annually in BSA/AML compliance.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Knowledge of and above average experience in the use of software, including but not limited to, Microsoft Exchange, Word,

Excel, and Power Point. High business acumen for analyzing, interpreting and communicating information derived from MCIF/CRM systems.

Education Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise.

Interpersonal Skills Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purposes of

giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Other Skills Must have excellent written, verbal, spelling and proofreading skills. Ability to create sales presentations, plan, budget, track and effectively manage work in process. Pay particular

attention to detail, ability to follow-up, prioritize tasks, handle a variety of assignments concurrently and work under pressure are critical. Must exhibit a professional appearance

and attitude at all times. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee frequently

is required to stand, walk, and sit. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. May require periodic travel. There is exposure to potential
