•Take an active role in providing all basic requirements in the cost, planning and scheduling of engineering, procurement and/or construction of industrial facilities.
•Have a basic understanding of the relationships between estimating, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
•Able to work on complex cost, planning and scheduling tasks.
•Works with construction team, owner and contractors to develop detailed construction plans and integrate them into a master CPM, cost and resource loaded schedule.
•Understand the relationship between the project estimate, project breakdown framework, and schedule.
•Understand and implement the concepts of schedule margin/contingency
•Collect and input accurate and timely data for schedule updates
•Providing analysis of schedule impacts and be able to identify potential corrective actions for implementation.
•Understand the concepts of earned value systems to measure progress and performance.
•Monitors key performance indicators (KPI) to communicate job progress and trends in the control of engineering, procurement and/or construction projects through the production of various reports and graphics.
•Provides analysis, detailed forecasting and presentation of findings of project and subcontractor schedules.
•Develops, maintains, and analyzes critical paths in project and subcontractor schedules
•Support the project team with change identification, documentation and schedule impacts; to include the development of Time Impact Analyses
Minimum 5 years experience in EPC project execution, cost, planning and scheduling.
•BS preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent degree or combination of experience and training.
•Must have current hands-on project controls experience with refineries and / or process plant construction.
•Ability to work with internal cost programs. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
•Ability to provide administrative and supervisory support for a small group of schedulers and cost engineers.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external clients.
•Must be proficient in the use of Primavera P6 program.
•Experience with Tilos software a plus
