Outstanding opportunity for CPG Brand Marketing candidate to enter the white hot Innovation arena with New Product Launch or Innovation experience but not the in depth white space marketing experience most roles require.
Brand Marketing Manager, Innovation
Key responsibilities for this role will include 1) Developing and gaining alignment for an innovation strategy (including new products and/or line extensions) and 2) Managing the execution of the short and long-term innovation pipeline. This will include leadership of new product, exploratory work, and product development. In addition, this candidate will be involved in all aspects of brand strategy development as part of the brand management team. The successful candidate could have a number of different backgrounds including Consumer Packaged Goods marketing, Brand Building, or Marketing Insights/Research (must have MBA). The candidate will be an excellent motivator, comfortable with both formal and influential leadership skills. The candidate must be comfortable interacting with and influencing senior management.
Proven track record of securing results on key initiatives within a consumer packaged goods environment.
Experience with Food R&D
Excellent understanding and demonstrated application of brand strategy.
Ability to lead an organization toward superior business results.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with emphasis on ability to influence others in all functions and at all levels in the organization.
Understanding of new product development and launch.
New Product and Innovation experience a plus.
Undergrad college degree required and MBA preferred (or strong Marketing career progression within a CPG)
4-6 years relevant Marketing experience preferred.
Well-developed oral, written, and analytical skills.
