Opportunity

H-GAC’s Human Services department is seeking candidates to fill the role of a Workforce Senior Planner.  This individual will manage contract relationships with organizations that operate Workforce Solutions – the region’s public workforce system – for us.  The Senior Planner will be responsible for writing, amending, and monitoring contracts for a group of organizations; providing technical assistance to contractors on contract compliance, budget, and performance issues; and leading regular contract reviews for each organization. 

The Senior Planner will work within a team of contract managers and closely with other department staff members involved in Workforce Solutions policy, operations, and monitoring. If this role sounds exciting to you, apply now! 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have at a minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Public Administration, Education or a related fieldof study. 

  • Applicable experience may substitute for education. 

  • Three to five years of experience working with contracts and contract administration 

    Preferred qualifications include: 

  • Master’s Degree in business administration or public administration 

  • Experience with federal requirements for contracting with public funds
