Job Description

Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst provides business and financial analytic expertise to build out global program support and enablement of strategies for FedEx SameDay Bot, including bot demand planning, customer support process creation, international development and budget management. This position leads business analysis initiatives for a business unit or project work as a thought leader and subject matter expert. The projects could involve many areas in Ecommerce, workflow automation, process improvement and automation, and delivery to the customer, etc. This is a high pace and broad exposure position.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of gathering and defining business requirements, including the discovery, analysis and documentation of business cases, requirements, process flows, use cases, performance metrics, and reports
  • Lead project work and contribute as thought leader and Subject Matter Expert of high profile efforts surrounding a key company initiative, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Identify current limitations in existing operations/workflows and areas of redundancy within various existing systems and define, document and present requirements for integration/improvement of these systems – including workflow tools, related hardware and,  software, current and future state of process flows, use cases and test cases
  • Facilitate multi-unit and vendor work sessions to determine requirements, screen flows, and processes
  • Develop proof-of concept models (diagrams) and prototypes when and where appropriate 
  • Work with multiple business and technology units within a large organization
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert of business processes and day to day operational infrastructure and systems
  • Act as the conduit between the Field, Corporate and vendors
  • Interface with the Tech Support team to define and improve support procedures and capabilities through training, communication, and documentation across all related projects  
  • Review and ensure that all corporate guidelines and regulatory rules are kept in compliance within the requirements
  • All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with requirements gathering and documentation as a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Technical experience (Windows, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Share Point) 
  • Prior experience working on large size, multi-functional projects 
  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated analytical excellence
  • Prior project management experience
