Job Profile

The IT Security Coordinator will act as a liaison between CHC and external auditors and will audit IT systems and processes and update and ensure that CHC follows all policies and procedures and state required documentation. This IT Security Coordinator will also stay updated on latest HIPAA and State regulations and industry best practices relating to IT security. The candidate must be able to work after hours and weekends as needed and have strong knowledge of overall IT infrastructure.

Qualifications;

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of HIPPA Security Rule, HITECH, investigating and documenting incidents and compliance required.
  • HCISPP certification or must be obtained within six months of accepting position.
  • Five years related industry experience (healthcare or IT) to include four years in a security, compliance or auditing role.

  • Excellent attitude and a strong desire to ensure that Community Health Choice complies with all HIPAA and State requirements in regards to the protection of company data.
  • Some late nights and weekends required for system upgrades and special projects.
