Job Description
CDM Smith has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Service Leader to lead client engagement and business development for the USACE Districts within the USACE Southwestern Division. We are looking for someone who will develop the strategy to grow our existing work and expand our service offerings within the division. We are open to filling this position in any of our Texas offices.

Job Responsibilities:
• Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with USACE Districts within the USACE Southwestern Division.
• Creating client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for multiple federal agencies. Coordinate with Senior Leadership to grow market share across targeted clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand CDM Smith involvement in offerings to include planning, design and construction with federal agencies.
• Serve as capture manager to include the preparation of proposals for single or multiple award task order contracts or task/delivery orders.
• Works effectively with program and project managers and key technical specialists working for their clients to deliver quality projects.
• Lead select projects within his/her technical area of expertise.
• Serve as mentor to lower level staff.
• Active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members.
• Working with a team to bring resources of the CDM Smith organization to bear on projects.
• Maintaining liaison with individuals and units within or outside CDM Smith to complete projects.
• Keeping abreast of new methods and developments (e.g. advanced technology) affecting CDM Smith to recommend changes to current programs, or new programs warranted by such developments.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in science or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in science or related discipline.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications
• 10 years of professional level experience, management experience with federal agencies and multiple award task order contracts, preferably with USACE and/or DOD.
• Experience in business development and long-term relationship management for federal-sector clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated Leadership abilities.
