Job Description:

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Administrative and Corporate Communication Specialist will be responsible in assisting with administrative and organizational office management in addition to Corporate Communications. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic personality, be creative, experienced in handling a wide range of tasks, exceedingly well organized, dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting an office of diverse people and programs. He/she must be able to function effectively in a variety of roles within a dynamic environment under minimal to no supervision.

Roles and Responsibility

* Develop communications that support, enable and help drive our culture

* Generate story ideas and topic angles for corporate communications

* Assist in organization and execution of company events (i.e. trade-shows, conferences, holidays)

* Log and maintain all collected materials within digital archive for archival or on-demand purposes

* Develop engaging, relevant graphics and photography that helps bring your work to life

* Identity, create, edit, design, and publish key communications content (e.g., presentations, literature, press releases, etc.); correct spelling and grammar, accuracy of numerical disclosures, and consistency

* Recommend, implement and maintain website design and operation and develop content for company, and all other distributed content, documents and material

* Assist with digital design and creative for all communications and adhere to brand standards

* Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals

* Provide senior level administrative support to corporate executives

* Create, compose and edit administrative correspondence and documentation

* Assist E&P team fulfilling asset management responsibilities as it relates to production reporting, operations summaries, and land/lease activities

* Prepare materials as required in advance of meetings and/or events

* Conference room bookings, projectors, laptops, etc. for internal/external meetings

* Monitor, reconcile, and assist with day-to-day administration of all areas, including, but not limited to, expense reports, travel arrangements, answering telephones, etc.

* Office management, facilities, building space and services for lease requirements, minor office repairs, etc.

* Creation and implementation of wide range administrative management and maintenance, procedures and systems necessary to meet needs of corporate office

* Perform other duties as deemed necessary including those assigned and approved by COO

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree required, preferred in Communication, Journalism, English or related field

* Requires at least 3+ years of communications & administrative experience

* Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word) and Adobe Creative Suite

* Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Basic Video edits and InDesign

* Strong creative writing skills and concept development

* Excellent organizational skills with ability to work for several individuals and as part of a team; take direction from various sources

* Solid verbal and non-verbal communication skills

* Above average interpersonal skills, dependable, proactive, work in collaborative environment and ability to communicate within all levels of organization

* Handle multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects with accuracy

* Self-starter that can drive initiatives from start to completion with little guidance

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong professionalism, sound business judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations

* Ability to condense and organize complex information into meaningful communications

* Results-oriented with proven ability to work both independently and in collaborative team environment

* Excellent persuasive writing, editing and verbal communications skills, including presentation skills
