    UX Research Specialist

    This UX Research Specialist position requires in-depth knowledge of UX best practices, UX qualitative and quantitate research methods, and report writing. The ideal candidate will be driven by the desire to be a user advocate, be passionate about creating products that are intuitive and enjoy the ability to use their strengths in multiple disciplines without any bias and ego. #CB

    Responsibilities

    • Research customers personas and investigate buyer behavior
    • Plan, conduct, evaluate and report traditional marketing A/B testing
    • Apply hands-on qualitative and quantitative research methods based on the type of the project
    • Proactively develop A/B test and usability test plans, usability test scripts, scenarios, user interviews, heuristic reviews, across all digital channels to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas
    • Apply end-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (Defining KPIs, study design, content, recruiting, scheduling, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communicating)
    • Collect, analyze, present and actionable feedback from customers generated during research, user testing and A/B testing
    • Influence design and product owner decisions based on UX best practices, design principles and test results
    • Regularly formulate and appropriately test hypotheses against data and customer feedback
    • Work closely with UX Manager, UX Writer, UI Designer and Data Analysts to integrate UX research methods

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in User Experience, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related discipline
    • Degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Sciences, or related discipline
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design and design thinking
    • In-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, research plan and reporting
    • Working knowledge of behavioral analysis and statistics
    • Skills in Axure RP prototyping tool is a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to label, classify and intelligently build flows and wireframes for complex computer applications are a plus
    • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
