The Financial Analyst II is responsible for providing and accurately interpreting complex analysis related to the clinical and financial operations of BCM clinics. This position is responsible for the routine analysis of data, monthly reporting, and special projects for Clinical Business Development1 to facilitate decision-making process from staff to executive level. The position requires the ability to work collaboratively with teams and take a lead role to perform the duties of a finance liaison with Clinical Departments. With experience in finance and healthcare, this position will be actively involved in developing and advancing BCM’s best practices and tools for business/financial analysis. This individual highlights performance issues, identifies problems, researches possible solutions, and forms conclusions to present to management and others involved. The position requires experience and knowledge of healthcare finance including but not limited to cost accounting, budgeting, benchmarking, and reporting statistical information in graphical and other presentation formats.
Clinical Business Development is a function within Baylor College of Medicine that coordinates with Clinical Departments, Finance, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle, Legal, and external partners for due diligence on provider recruitment, practice acquisitions, and program initiatives. Evaluation of direct/indirect financial impact and alignment of business concepts to operations is essential to the organization’s success.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, or business related field (Master’s preferred.)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Three years of financial analysis work experience.
