ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES This position will train in both Hydrocarbon blending and laboratoryanalysis and will be utilized as needed based on facility demand.

  • Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repacking gases/liquids into cylinders

  • Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections.

  • Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained

  • Regularly inspect and maintain blending systems and associated equipment.

  • Fill cylinders using various and appropriate production equipment.

  • Ensure cylinder-filling records are accurately maintained and that allrequired procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state andfederal regulations.

  • Complete incoming inspection and/or chemical analysis of rawmaterials in accordance with defined procedures and specifications. Results ofthe evaluation are documented on the appropriate component inspection report.

  • Complete chemical analysis of finished products in accordance withdefined procedures and specifications. Results of the evaluation are recordedin the device history record.

  • Ability to identify and properly report out of specification testresults.

  • Complete calibration of laboratory instruments and balances inaccordance with defined procedures.

  • Perform routine calibration on process analytical equipment.

  • Basic knowledge of equipment troubleshooting.

  • Able to perform Non Conformance product problem solving

  • Complete visual inspection of product labeling prior to the issuance ofthe prepared labels to manufacturing.

  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and any accident or injuryis promptly reported to management.

  • Maintain neat, clean and orderly plant appearance.

  • Perform mathematical calculations.

  • Work in a team environment.









Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in a chemical/Chemistry disciplinepreferred; or = 5 years of relevant experience will be considered.  Familiarity with MS Office, Googlepackage, and SAP.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Abilityto read and interpret documents such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports andcorrespondence.  Ability to speakeffectively before groups of customers or associates of the Company.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Abilityto add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. 


REASONING ABILITY

Abilityto solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret avariety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
