We are seeking an Aftermarket Project Manager to lead highly technical, cross-functional engineering and execution teams to satisfy customer needs.  Work location is Houston, TX.

Responsibilities will include: 
  • Work collaboratively with Proposal Managers to receive assigned orders, develop and implement appropriate execution plans that address execution, budget, and schedule, and put in place a team that can successfully execute,
  • Manage and execute 50-100 orders and projects concurrently in different phases, from order intake, execution, shipment, invoicing, and accounts receivable,
  • Ensure regular communication is provided to internal and external stakeholders and customers on status of projects, and develop relationships that will indirectly drive sales,
  • Lead the project team and provide direction on objective priorities to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed as planned,
  • Manage changes on projects to keep projects on track and meeting financial and customer targets,
  • Provide feedback on lessons learned during execution to other functions to drive continuous improvement.

Technical Degree (BA/BS/BEng); mechanical engineering background a plus,
  • Project Management Experience, > 3 years is preferred, with excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively lead and organize engineering teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously,
  • Knowledge of MRP systems such as SAP is beneficial,
  • Detailed knowledge of turbomachinery, accessory systems, and related technologies and services a plus,
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, with ability to drive success, with strong winning spirit and ability to motivate teams,
  • Excellent creativity, problem solving, and decision-making skills - including an understanding of when to escalate both technical and administrative decisions,
  • Aptitude and desire to quickly learn,
  • Excellent time management skills,
  • Ability and drive to continuously improve and eliminate unnecessary barriers or complexity to meeting customer needs,
  • Ability to create an environment of trust and consistently exhibit a positive attitude.
