Identifies constituent-specific service issues, suggest solutions, and may lead resolution of issues working with other areas. This is an on-site customer service position and employee will reside in the customer's office location in Houston.

Additional Job Information
Ideal candidate should have a strong background in health insurance and customer service.  Candidate will build a trusting relationship with the customer by taking accountability and fully acting upon their needs. 

Fundamental Components
  • Research and resolve customer claim issues received via walk-in, telephone or e-mail
  • Assist the account team with implementation, plan administration, wellness initiatives, open enrollment, health fairs, and escalated issues
  • Promote and educate members on Aetna tools and wellness solutions in the form of lunch and learns, presentations, meet and greets, etc.
  • Deliver on-site monthly reports to customer as necessary
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of critical issues
  • Identify emerging trends and concerns and notify account team with concise description of issue along with options already explored


Background Experience
  • 2-5 years health benefits and customer service experience required 
  • Project management experience is a plus 
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • College degree desired or equivalent experience
