AECOM is actively seeking an Oil & Gas (O&G) Environmental Senior Project Manager specializing in the assessment and permitting of pipeline and midstream facilities, with a focus on FERC-regulated pipelines and liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, for immediate employment.  The primary work location is Houston, Texas, but with 12 offices throughout AECOM’s 22 state Central Region, we will consider excellent candidates interested in our other office locations (IE: Denver or Minneapolis). The successful applicant will join a network of existing AECOM specialists across the US, and will have the resources of more than 3,500 regional staff available to assist in project delivery.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Planning, Natural/Biological Resource Management or other related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

8+ years full time work experience in the energy field focused on Impact Assessment and Permitting (IAP), FERC NEPA process, natural resources surveys, USACE jurisdictional determinations,   water resources management, and/or cultural resources management and tribal engagement.

Professional registration and/or certification, as applicable

Strong, current and recent experience with major pipeline/midstream and integrated O&G companies providing capital project development and O&M project management services

Demonstrated leadership in proposal development and successful pursuit of competitive bids

Knowledge of FERC requirements and related experience with preparing FERC Section 7(c) resource reports and pre-filing process, environmental permitting, NEPA, relevant environmental regulations and processes, and related environmental considerations

Experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Section 404/401 permitting processes and State NPDES requirements and permitting processes, including wetland/waters of the US permitting, mitigation, and restoration

Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing and mentoring staff

High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment

Demonstrated ability to manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget

Organizational management skills and ability to delegate, multi-task and perform detail-oriented work

Position requires that the candidate must be able to travel for agency/client meetings as well as field work kick-off and auditing as required

Preferred Qualifications
15+ years full time work experience in related field,  focused on environmental permitting, NEPA process, natural resources management, water resources management, and/or cultural resources management consulting industry

Strong experience with client relationship building, , leading, and delivering environmental/cultural resource permitting services, including ability to manage projects, interdisciplinary teams, and workload, as well as interface with clients

Established client relationships with ability to market and win work successfully and effectively for the team, office and region as related to the O&G pipeline and midstream sector

MS Project experience

Offshore pipeline and facility impact assessment and permitting experience

Possession of any of the following certification(s): PMP, PWS, PE, etc
