Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Project Controls Analyst for our Dallas, TX location.

This position will provide key Project support for Project Managers Core activities include:

  • Set-up Projects and assist with managing Project data in ePM (AECOM Project ManagementApplication)
  • Work with Project Managers (PMs), Finance Staff, and clients to ensure timely billing and collections
  • Create project status updates, and summary sheets for PMs
  • Ensure project reporting deadlines are met for internal and external clients
  • Respond to project financial action items to business line management
  • Facilitate setup subcontractors in the AECOM system
  • As needed, interact with clients and subcontractors to acquire information necessary to support current projects
  • Assess Project financial status and take a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges by working with PM and Operations Management staff
  • Participate in monthly Project Reviews
  • Assist PMs with quarterly formal estimates to complete their projects (EAC/ETC)

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree in Construction, Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of cost/financial or project controls related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Previous experience in assembling data for trending and forecasting
  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining effective cost control programs
  • Financial accounting and/or budgeting experience
  • P6 (Primavera 6) and/or Microsoft Project software experience
  • Previous planning and scheduling experience
