Performs a wide variety of payroll processing activities including review of time input, review of employee data changes to determine payroll actions needed, computing wage and overtime, calculating deductions and garnishments. This position is responsible for initiating jobs that calculate and produce payroll checks. Responsibilities also include creating adjustment transactions and review and audit of system output to insure accuracy of processing. Solves employee and manager issues related to payroll, leave balances and 401k Plan. Performs both routine and non-routine tasks when calculating transactions, researching issues and identifying scheduling issues as they relate to the payroll cycle. Must have inhouse payroll exp with either Lawson, SAP, or Peoplesoft.
