Are you into technology, web development, writing, video editing, or just plain a power user of the web? If so, consider this great part-time opportunity to help HCSS buildup our social media presence for our customer-facing and recruitment brand.
In this role, you will increase and enhance our social media presence for our business and recruitment brand. You will work across the organization, recruiting and coordinating volunteers to produce an ongoing stream of content for our social media initiatives. Use your skills with blogging platforms, Facebook pages, Twiitter feeds, Linkedin, and YouTube channels. Your key focus: Buildup interest in and promote HCSS to the world!

The ideal Social Media Expert will have the following skills:

Applicants must have experience with Web 2.0, writing, and social media tools, and platforms.
Collaboration Skills - ability to interface productively with other departments.
Results Orientation - bias for action and drive for completion.
Passion for social media, innovation, and problem-solving.
Fantastic writing skills, both technical and creative.
Social media expertise - subject matter expert for FBML, CSS, HTML, Facebook advertising platform, API-s, and web design encouraged but not required.

The following are some of the duties of the social media expert:

Responsible for social media execution - daily messaging on Twitter, Facebook, etc for several accounts and blogging about our products.
Ability to identify industry related influencers and super-fans; continuously reach out to build relationships.
Monitors new trends in the social media space and brings new ideas.
Proof reading, attending and documenting company events in order to product social media content. You will also help plan events as needed.
Aids in advertising campaign execution (Facebook, AdWords, YouTube).

Before You Apply... What You Should Know
*Please note that this position is designed to be a regular part-time position. If you are looking for a part-time position with the potential to become a full-time employee, this would not be suitable for you. However, if you desire to do professional-level work with part-time hours (20-25 hours/week), this would be an ideal role for you.

Experience: Because there is no extensive formal training program for this position, direct experience in this position is required.

Pay: In general, the starting hourly wage for our part-time position is dependant upon experience of the applicant.

How to Apply
To ensure you have the logic skills for problem solving, we give all applicants a short reasoning test as well as some simple grammar/vocabulary questions. Although the test is not particularly difficult (about 7th grade level), if you were poor at math in school, you will probably not pass the test.
