Job: Part-Time Project Coordinator

Are you highly organized and use technology to stay organized. Do others depend on your organizational skills to get things done and accomplish multiple tasks? Do you understand how programming works and have a passion for quality in software products? Then this might be the ideal position for you. We are looking specifically for someone with direct experience as a Software Project Manager for this part-time position.

The ideal Project Manager will have the following skills:

• Highly organized in your approach to work.
• Enjoy looking for problems and finding solutions.
• Understand the business purpose of software and whether it is being achieved.
• Detail oriented in gathering information.
• Likes making lists and documenting things.

The following are some of the duties of our software project managers:

• Gather all the information needed to start multiple programming projects.
• Work with the developers writing the programs.
• Help test the finished work.
• Explain to customers and other employees what was finished.

*Please note that this position is designed to be a regular part-time position. If you are looking for a part-time position with the potential to become a full-time employee, this would not be suitable for you. However, if you desire to do professional-level work with part-time hours (20-25 hours/week), this would be an ideal role for you.

Experience: Because there is no extensive formal training program for this position, direct experience in this position is required.

Pay: In general, the starting hourly wage for our part-time position is dependant upon experience of the applicant.

How to Apply
To ensure you have the logic skills for problem solving, we give all applicants a short reasoning test as well as some simple grammar/vocabulary questions. Although the test is not particularly difficult (about 7th grade level), if you were poor at math in school, you will probably not pass the test.
