Job Title: Management Analyst I WWO / TGH
Salary: $1,202.00 - $1,447.00 Biweekly $31,252.00 - $37,622.00 Annually Job Type: Full-Time Location: Houston, Texas PN# 07054 Department of Public Works & Engineering Public Utilities Division Wastewater Operations Branch 4545 Groveway* M - F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.* *Subject to change DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists in evaluating compliance to financial, accounting and budgeting procedures. Reviews and prepares financial, accounting and budgetary forms, reports and records. Assists in the preparation and evaluation of budget submittals. Monitors, prepares requests and provides analysis for specific budgets and funds. Coordinates special projects related to fiscal instruments. Performs technical activities, such as reviews methods, activities and procedures pertinent to budget and management investigations and studies. Handles any special projects or related problems. Performs other duties as requested. WORKING CONDITIONS The position is physically comfortable: the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are occasional minor discomforts from exposure to less-than-optimal temperature and air conditions. This is a Department of Public Works and Engineering Emergency Management Essential Position at the Tier III Level. Skills / Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance or a field directly related to the job. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One (1) year of administrative and/or professional experience in accounting, budget analysis, finance, public/business administration or a field directly related to the job is required. MINIMUM LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Valid Texas Driver License and compliance with the City of Houston policy on driving.
