Job: Teller-Full Time Opening

The Teller is responsible for assisting members with all financial services and providing efficient operations accordingly by:
• Performing routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing.
• Receiving share deposits, loan and credit card payments, and enter into in-house computer system.
• Receiving payments for installment and share secured loans, ensuring that payments equal the amount due and that all late charges, if applicable, are collected.
• Examining checks for endorsements and negotiability.
• Providing members with proper receipts for payments/deposits.
• Responding to members’ requests, problems and complaints.
• Processing stop payments on share draft accounts.
• Providing members with account status, including current balances and loan pay-offs.
• Assessing the needs of the members, establishing sales objectives and plans for achieving goals and working to develop and continuously improve sales skills.
• Selling credit union products and services through contact with existing and new members in a proactive sales environment.
• Referring existing and new members to a colleague or service partner who has specific expertise.
• Keeping abreast of all credit union promotions.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1 - 2 years experience in a Sales and Service Environment. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be computer literate.
