Job: Branch Teller-Part Time

In April 1935 Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union was granted a federal charter by the National Credit Union Administration to provide financial service to Houston Fire Fighters. Twelve Fire Fighters contributed a quarter to bring total assets to $3 - kept safe in a locked drawer of a roll top desk and insured by the full faith of the United States government.

Today Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union is a full service financial institution with 3 locations, $170 million in assets, and over 16,000 members. The credit union continues to be rated at the highest level of safety and security ensuring that our members that the original purpose of "people helping people" has remained the primary focus of the credit union's mission.

Houston Texas Fire Fighters FCU is currently recruiting for part time Tellers to provide exceptional service to our members. The duties include but are not limited to performing monetary transactions by receiving or disbursing funds with a high degree of accuracy and maintaining accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.

Candidate must have at least one year of cash handling experience. Prior teller and/or credit union experience preferred but not required.

Must be efficient, dependable and present a professional appearance with a pleasant personality. Ideal candidate must demonstrate an ability to work well with people and present a helpful, eager disposition.
