Job: Maintenance Technician

Service Wire Company is a premier manufacturer of industrial and utility wire and cable. Our regional manufacturing location in Houston is seeking to add a skilled individual to our maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility

Maintain maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Troubleshoot and repair production machines using precision measuring and testing instruments

Maintain safety standards and clean work environment

Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories

High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma)

2 to 5+ years related experience or equivalent training

Strong electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical skills required

Previous safety training a plus

Basic computer skills

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, engineering specifications and work orders

Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods
