Job: Member Service Representative

We are seeking a dynamic individual to deliver "Ultimate Service" to our membership!

The Member Services Representative will be is responsible for assisting members with all their financial services and providing efficient operations and products accordingly:

• Greeting and acknowledging all members in friendly and professional manner.
• Answering all inquiries in a timely, courteous and efficient manner either in person or by phone.
• Answering all inquiries which include: balance inquiries, wire transfers, confirmation of deposits, rate inquiries, verification of checks and research requests.
• Assisting members with credit union technology services and products.
• Responding to members’ requests, problems and complaints.
• Providing members with account status, including current balances and loan pay-offs.
• Building new and servicing existing relationships with members.
• Assessing the needs of the members, establishing sales objectives and plans for achieving goals and working to develop and continuously improve sales skills.
• Selling credit union products and services through contact with existing and new members in a proactive sales environment.
• Referring existing and new members to a colleague or service partner who has specific expertise.
• Keeping abreast of all credit union promotions.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of prior experience at another credit union/bank or related financial experience. Proven understanding of financial products and services required.

Must be computer literate.

Bilingual applicants preferred, however not required.
