Job: Applications Engineer

Summary: This position provides Engineering and Technical support to the Marketing & Sales and Commercial Sales Coordinators, and will communicate with existing and new customers during the complete processes (quotes/orders/questions, etc).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Review incoming request for quote (RFQ) for Applications, Solutions, Equipment, Commercial Terms and Service.
Provide a technical requirement to enable client company to provide a comprehensive technical and commercial quote.
Manage one or more aspects of the client company's engineering application. Multiphase Flow Meters, Oil Water Meters, Interface Detection, R&D, and/or Field Service.
Develops business modeling applications.
Reviews functional specifications for new applications and upgrades.
Performs testing of new applications.
Assists with the creation of functional specifications.
Utilizes full life cycle development methodology to see projects through from beginning to end.
Develops products to adhere to the product and service deliverables of both internal and external customers.
Ensures that the detailed designs meet core customer requirements.
Continual sales follow up on quotes submitted to representative, clients and client companies.
Update Customer Resource Management (CRM) database.
Maintains documentation of configurations and changes.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor¡¦s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering; or 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience in a manufacturing industry and/or sale of instrumentation devices is a plus
