We’re an established integrated communications company providing a full range of voice and data services to businesses in TX and OK and we are hiring for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - I in HOUSTON, TX. Essential Functions for the Technical Support Tech I are: -Answering inbound calls from both Internal and External customers in order to meet the needs of all customers in a timely and professional manner. -Responsible for analyzing, trouble shooting Internet or Email issues that are either reported directly by our customers or identified via Logix surveillance systems. -Confidently provide information and updates to customers experiencing Internet or Email issues. -Work in unison with other Logix departments to identify and resolve issues. This includes coordinating Field service dispatches or consultations focused on trouble resolutions. -Maintaining a daily log of all customers that require follow up and proactively contacting all customers back in a timely manner. -Create Event Tickets and determining what department they need to be assigned to, while maintaining ownership of customer follow up and final resolution. -Performing proactive customer service by reviewing accounts, surveillance tools and reports to identify areas of concern or opportunity. -Reporting accurate reports of trouble to Logix network partners, recording all records of conversation and testing in Logix event ticket system and keeping customer abreast of vendor activity. -Always striving to provide Perfect Customer Service and making it easy for our customers to do business with Logix Communications. -Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. -Excellent organizational skills required. -Quick learner, detail oriented and must be muti-tasked. -Meets and exceeds team member expectations by providing service and department teamwork. -Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customers expectations. -Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed. -Communicates effectively with customer, co-workers and management. -Performs other duties as required to provide excellent service and teamwork. Skills / Requirements
-Experience in Telecom sales or customer service required. Familiarity with Logix products and services a plus.
-Must be detail oriented and able to self manage, track and record daily activity. -Must be able to learn all aspects of the job through on-the-job training, reading instruction manuals, etc. -Must have good comprehension of telephone etiquette and office protocol. -Must have good organizational and coordinating skills. -Ability to define problems, define seriousness of problems, collect data and establish facts. -Maintain positive attitude toward coworkers and customers. -Maintain honesty and integrity in all dealings. -Effective time management skills. -Professional and effective oral and written communication skills. -Proficient in Word & Excel applications and the ability to type 35wpm.
