Job Summary Supervises and evaluates billing, data entry, and cash receipt positions. Analyzes and implements accounting processes and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
* Coordinates all departmental billing/customer issues and supervises day to day billing and accounts receivable operations. Reviews and supervises roll-off data entry. Maintains employee schedules. Responds to billing-related customer complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensures billing cycles are completed timely and accurately and performance month-end accounts receivable close. Develops, coordinates schedules and monitors performance of staff, coaching, and arrange for training as needed. Reviews database monthly for integrity.
Supervisory
The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of supervisory employees. This includes: Direct supervision of 11 full-time employees.

Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Required: Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, and 5yrs of previous experience. Minimum of 5yrs experience as a supervisor or manager. Proficiency using computer applications to record, analyzed, and report information. Excellent communication skills
Preferred: A minimum of 5+yrs experience in the waste, environmental services, energy, or transportation industry. AS/400 knowledge is a plus!
