Job: Speech Therapist

Job Duties Include:
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats speech language and perpetual learning disorders, including initiation of appropriate referrals and follow-up as required.

*Evaluation and diagnosis of speech, language and/or perceptual learning disorders
*Interprets results of evaluation propose treatment as indicated to the patient/family and referral source.
*Make referrals to appropriate personnel for other medical or rehabilitative services.
*Plans and implements an appropriate and individualized speech and/or language therapy program.
*Provides a written report for patient medical records, with copies to referral source, patient, and family when indicated.
*Regularly reviews, evaluates and adjusts the therapy program.

*A Masters Degree or equivalent in speech pathology.
*Must hold current license in Speech Pathology from the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
*Must be able to work any time of the day, independently with minimal supervision
*Must provide own transportation and be able to travel throughout the city and surrounding areas
*Must be able to handle stressful client situations
*Must be able to meet stressful scheduling demands
*Speech pathology experience preferred.
