Job: Assistant Sales Manager - Full Time: Mall of the Mainland

Overview:The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for assisting in the supervision of daily activities within a specific merchandise area. This includes selling and service management, coaching and developing associates, and merchandise management.
Key Accountabilities:Coach associates on all levels of selling skills. Develop associates' ability to effectively handle customer service issues. Through on-the-job training and role modeling, teach associates customer service skills and selling behaviors to maximize customer loyalty and business results. Assist in recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified sales associates. Develop selling team by delegating responsibilities and tasks. Provide associates with actionable feedback on performance strengths and areas of development. Ensure associates understand productivity and job performance standards. Execute and maintain visual merchandising and selling floor standards. Communicate promotional event information to maximize results of each event. Assist with preparation for physical inventories. Identify merchandise issues and opportunities based on selling and customer feedback

Skills Summary:

Previous sales experience, preferably within a retail environment
