Job: Banking Center Manager (Alvin)

Texas First Bank is a locally independent community bank. A commitment to the community has made Texas First Bank the bank of choice for area residents. Texas First Bank is seeking a skilled and motivated Banking Center Manager for our new facility in Alvin, Texas.

The Banking Center Manager position is part of the bank's retail area. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the Lobby Services Area, which includes New Accounts, Tellers, and processing small lending requests. This position will also help expand customer relationships, attract additional customers, improve customer service, and monitor growth and profitability of the location.

The position will be responsible for opening new accounts, selling additional products to customers, prospecting, processing consumer lending requests and supporting the overall sales efforts of the bank. The Banking Center Manager will also be required to support the Teller area for the location as required.

Minimum high school degree or equivalent; a four year degree in business administration or related field is preferred.

2-3 years of management experience in a banking environment.

Prior experience as a teller and new accounts/personal banker.

Knowledge of banking laws and compliance regulations.

Must have the capacity to work and and multitask under stress and handle difficult situations.

This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills, communications skills, as well as utilization of office equipment.
