Summary: Oversee all sales initiatives and results for the autoclave industry (mining & minerals). Plans and develops strategies, objectives, policies and programs for sales and marketing activities for the autoclave industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Create autoclave industry business plan, to include pricing strategies, forecasts, allocations, and goals. * Coordinate cross-functional teams of representatives from R&D, sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and accounting. * Establishes strategic sales and marketing plans for the autoclave industry to achieve corporate objectives for products and services expansion in the autoclave industry. * Develops and executes comprehensive sales, marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives. * Establishes sales territories, quotas, and revenue targets. * Manages budgets and evaluates sales performance. Provides initial and ongoing training when needed. * Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity. Oversee and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. * Directs activities, which include estimating market value and conditions; investigates marketing conditions and facilities to determine time, place and type of sales. * Plans with MOGAS marketing team, advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail. * Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards for the industry along with and economic trends in the autoclave industry. * Ensures effective control of sales results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of sales and marketing objectives falls within designated budgets. * Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, key customers, representative, and strategic business partners. Resolves conflicts and facilitates changes to ensure objectives are met and swift response to autoclave problems and opportunities. * Conducts market surveys on current and new product concepts, and provides feedback for future product development to Management. * Ensures a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events along with MOGAS marketing department. * Responsible for competitor analysis in the autoclave market. Assist with rep selections for key autoclave territories. * International travel required: approximately 50%. * Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Works with territory managers to manage reps. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work and appraising performance. Other Skills and Abilities: Multilingual preferred but not required. Computer skills: MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Professional Skills: Leadership, decisive decision making, flexibility with work loads, strong presentation and negotiation skills, excellent training, research and analysis skills, professional attire and demeanor. Must be able to travel internationally approximately 50% of the time. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in industrial engineering or business from an accredited four-year college or university with 5 to 6 years experience in the autoclave industry (mining & minerals) in a sales or engineering capacity.
