Job: Control Valve Account Manager

Summary: Manages the promotion and direction of Control Valve sales or service activities within a specified region among customers or prospects in a region. Manage the sale of Mogas Control Valves to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales offices.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Develop and improve working relationships with new and existing customers and representatives.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talk with customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Prepares technical and commercial quotations that include pricing/credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Expedite any service concern and product delivery by being available to travel or answer calls as necessary.
• Be available to make joint sales and information calls to area representatives.
• Make forecasts on anticipated market sales.
• Provide product information and service application possibilities through live presentations, providing literature and scheduled contacts with customers.
• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of Mogas.
• Work directly with area representatives on quote expectations.
• Submit reports on sales activity and maintains records. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
• Studies schedules and estimates time, cost and labor estimates for completion of job assignments.
• Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
• Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
• Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
• Promotes excellent customer relations.
• Works closely with Service to provide ongoing customer assistance.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing and engineering contacts.
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Qualifications: Must be able to travel up to 40% both domestic and international.

Education / Experience: Mechanical Engineering degree and 3 to 5 years Control Valve experience. Experience in Fluid Dynamics preferred.
