Job: Tax Manager - Small Business

Position Description: This position manages client relationships by delivering all tax compliance and consulting services to the client and bringing in other firm service lines where necessary. This position is also responsible for recruitment, management and development of staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervision and review of tax compliance projects for small business and individuals
Provide technical expertise on small business
Tax research projects for clients in diverse industries
Ability to economically and productively manage projects including billing and accounts receivable responsibilities
Managing tax planning and analysis projects for clients, their affiliates and related individual shareholders, partners and officers
Supervise professional staff serving as Tax Associates and Senior Tax Associates
Develop and motivate engagement staff by providing them with leadership coaching and professional counseling
Any other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
5-7 years of related work experience in public accounting
CPA required
Excellent research and writing skills
Proven excellent interaction with staff, peers and firm leadership
Experience with estate and trust issues preferred
Experience with small business and individuals
Bilingual skills a plus but not required
