Job: Full Time Certified Nurse Aide-The Woodlands

We are looking for Certified Nurse Aides to provide Personal Care Assistance for seniors in an upscale Independent Living Community in the Woodlands area.

Responsibilities include:

Personal Care Assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, medication reminders, and safe transfers.

Light housekeeping assistance with washing, folding, and ironing laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, organizing closets/cabinets, vacuuming carpets.

Transportation/Escort responsibilities include grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, dental appointments, picking up prescriptions, etc. utilizing public transportation or client's vehicle.

Timely completion of time sheets and visit notes and submission to office for processing.

Immediately reports changes in client's condition to supervisor.

Actively participates in client's plan of care, offering suggestions regarding the needs of the client to ensure client satisfaction and safety.

Attends mandatory agency in-service training a minimum of four times per year.

Wears clean and ironed scrubs and comfortable, closed-toed shoes to all work assignments.

Must also wear agency name badge to all assignments.

Skills/ Requirements
Must be a Certified Nurse Aide in good standing in the State of Texas, AND

Must have at least one year experience in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, or assisted living facility as a Personal Care Assistant or C.N.A.

Must pass a National Criminal History search with no convictions.

Must have excellent communication skills, and be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Must have a cheerful disposition and excellent interpersonal skills.

Must have reliable transportation, and valid Texas Driver's License, and automobile liability insurance at all times.

Must be CPR certified and have tested negative for TB within the past year.

Must be able to lift/transfer up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires bending, stooping, and lifting.
