Job: JUNIOR LITIGATION PARALEGAL - $35K -

Small litigation boutique firm located in DOWNTOWN HOUSTON immediately is interviewing for the following position:

JUNIOR PARALEGAL WITH THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

(1) 2-4 years of litigation paralegal experience in Harris County, Texas
(2) knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
(3) letter perfect quality work is mandatory
(4) solid understanding of the litigation process from "file to trial"
(5) experience in calendar, legal deadlines, indexing files, retrieving documents, scanning incoming mail, e-filing.
(6) attention to detail and "ownership" of the files is a must
(7) good attendance each day is mandatory

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE IMPORTANT SKILLS

(1) Solid Word skills
(2) Typing at least 50 wpm
(3) Proper English grammar and correct spelling
(5) Good telephone and office etiquette
(6) Some college is preferred but some experience can be substituted for college. A GED/high school disploma is required.
